Ludwigia super red (Ludwigia Palustris)

Ludwigia Palustris also known as Ludwigia super Red is a plant which belongs to Onagraceae family. It can grow either partially or fully submersed. It requires light, nutrients, trace elements and sufficient CO2 (optional) to grow at its best. Vibrancy of this plant depends greatly on the amount of light it receives. This plant will have intense red coloration and also will grow better when it is placed in sufficient light with CO2 added. For propagation, simply cut the branches off the top and plant the stem in the substrate elsewhere (Make sure that you remove the leaves from the last node on the bottom of the stem for proper root growth). It can reach upto 10 to 30 centimeters in height or can be even more. It belongs to Genus Ludwigia.
