Hydrocotyle Leucocephala is an aquarium plant also known as Giant Cardamine native to wet marshlands of South America. It is also known as Brazilian Pennywort. It has kidney shaped leaves and are light green in color. Stems are flexible and sturdy so should be free from cracks, holes or tears. Like other stem plants, it also requires balanced light, nutrients, trace elements and sufficient CO2 to grow at its best. Light should be provided with enough intensity to keep them alive and should be on for 10-14 hours a day. This plant grows fast even in low light, so trimming is necessary. For trimming, select the portion of the stem and gently snip with trimming shears. For propagation, Trim couple of inches of stem, if it is long enough then simply plant the trimmed end into the substrate then in about week or so it should begin to grow roots. It can grow upto 8 inches of height.
