Limnophila Sessiliflora also known as dwarf Ambulia is a undemanding flowering plant from Sout-East Asia, belonging to the family Plantaginaceae. It is also known as Ambulis and Asian marshweed. These plants look quite similar to Cabomba but has leaves in proper whorls (about 1.2 inches in diameter). These plants look even more beautiful if planted in groups. The leaves are pinnate and bright green in color. Higher lighting cause the leaves to take on reddish hues. Whorls of leaves tend to close up and ‘go to sleep’ when plant has received enough light for the day. These plants require good amount of traces, iron supplements to stay healthy.
